SkyTeam carriers Delta Air Lines and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines offer codesharing flights, provide customers with service to destinations in the United States, Latin America, Europe, Africa and the Middle East from their hubs in Amsterdam, Atlanta and New York-JFK.
KLM operated codeshare flights with a total of 14 destinations beyond Delta’s hubs at Atlanta and New York-JFK.
Members of Delta’s SkyMiles program and KLM’s Flying Blue can earn miles for redemption awards and elite qualification on flights operated by Delta and KLM. SkyMiles members can also use miles to upgrade to Business class when flying on a full fare economy class (Y) ticket on many of our SkyTeam member airlines. In addition, as a result of our enhanced relationship with KLM, SkyTeam mileage upgrades can now be used on the following KLM booking classes: S, X, B, and M (valid for travel through May 31, 2011) and Y, B, M, and U (on or after June 1, 2011). Initially, Delta is codesharing to 10 KLM markets via Amsterdam including Stockholm, Warsaw, Hamburg, Oslo, Bucharest, Gothenburg, Hanover, Nuremberg, Birmingham and Helsinki. Delta intends to grow its codeshare services across KLM’s network to more than 30 destinations.

This summer, Delta offers more flights between the United States and Europe than any global carrier and we are pleased to expand the number of choices our customers have beyond the 29 destinations served by Delta.”
