Istanbul to Accra fares on Turkish Airlines

Turkish Airlines’passengers continue experience africa with flights to the city of Accra in Ghana. Turkish Airlines operated flights from Istanbul to Accra via Lagos, Nigeria.providing the service 4 times per week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays in both directions.

With the service to Accra (Ghana), Turkish Airlines continues to increase its extensive network and will serve 127 international destinations worldwide. Roundtrip airfares begin at 498 Euros (including all taxes)

This brings to two the number of airlines connecting Accra via Lagos as Lufthansa Airlines until recently had connected both cities with its hub in Frankfurt, Germany.

The Director of Turkish Airlines, Accra, Engrin Akbas said: “We are glad to announce the beginning of operations to Accra, Ghana in July so as to allow more of our teeming passengers to fly to West Africa with us.

Istanbul – Lagos Departure/Arrival
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday 14:15 / 19:15
Lagos – Accra Departure/Arrival
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday 20:35 / 20:35
Accra - Lagos Departure/Arrival
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday 21:45 / 23:45
Lagos - Istanbul Departure/Arrival
Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday 01:05 / 09:15

Turkish Airlines currently operates to Dakar, Senegal; Entebbe, Uganda and Dar Es Salam, Tanzania, Kenya and Central Africa Region.
The four-star airline company has a fleet of 142 aircraft, flying to 166 destinations around the world, which includes 39 domestic and 127 international destinations.
Meanwhile, the Turkish government has assured Ghanaian businessmen and women that plans were far advanced to open an Embassy in Accra by September this year to process their visas.
