American Eagle operates 11 daily round-trip flights between San Diego Airport and Los Angeles, and now offers an easy connection to Shanghai, China.

"Our 11 flights already make Los Angeles accessible from San Diego throughout the day," said Gary Foss, Vice President – Planning and Marketing for American's regional network. "Now, we can connect passengers to American's new Shanghai flights, in addition to dozens of flights by our oneworld® partners that link American's Los Angeles cornerstone hub to the world."

American's launched daily direct flights from Los Angeles to Shanghai. with departures at 3:10 p.m. each day. It is part of a major expansion of its links between California and the Chinese business hub.
This is in addition to aa nonstop service from Chicago to Shanghai and Beijing. So whether you are flying from or connecting through Los Angeles or Chicago, we can take you to the best of China.
The new route, which entered service on April 5, will be operated using a Boeing 777 jet. This aircraft is equipped with seating for plenty of premium travelers, including 16 people in the first class cabin and 37 in business class.

Passengers will enjoy the style and comfort of the Flagship airport lounge Experience in First and Business Class, and they'll find entertainment at every seat in the Main Cabin.
