“This incredible sale, together with our new Flight Transfer Service, is part of our continuing efforts to offer only the best to our guests,” AirAsia X Head of Commercial Darren Wright said.

“Guests no longer have to clear immigration in the Kuala Lumpur low cost carrier terminal, go through the hassle of checking in their luggage twice to connect to their onward destinations or worry about transit visa applications.

“Our aim is to ensure seamless travel for connecting guests transiting in Kuala Lumpur and traveling with us to other destinations within the AirAsia X network, along with offering the lowest fares possible.”
The Flight Transfer Service allows guests to book a connecting flight under one itinerary.
Guests will connect between flights via the transfer hall at Kuala Lumpur within a shorter time period (from 90 minutes up to 6 hours), while check in luggage will be tagged and transferred directly to the final destination.

“This service is among the many benefits of AirAsia’s recently introduced New Skies booking system, which has enabled us to move away from the point-to-point booking and transit model,” Mr Wright said.
