jetblue flights San Juan to St. Croix

To celebrate jetblue airways position as Puerto Rico’s largest airline, today This winter JetBlue Airlines plans to step into the U.S. Virgin Islands,announcing that weoak connect San Juan to two new cities: St. Thomas (STT) and St. Croix (STX). Service will begin Dec. 15 to both destinations, with two daily flights to St. Thomas’ Cyril E. King Airport and one daily flight to St. Croix’ Henry E. Rohlsen International Airport. We’re also planning seasonal winter service between Boston and St. Thomas to begin at the same time.

The intra-Caribbean service from SJU and STX will be operated with E190 aircraft. The BOS-STT flights will be operated using A320 aircraft.

St. Thomas and St. Croix are part of the United States Virgin Islands, an unincorporated territory of the United States. The islands were purchased, along with St. John, from Denmark in 1917. U.S. citizenship was granted to the residents in 1927.
