Wipro Technologies on Thursday announced the inauguration of its global delivery centre at Chengdu to provide IT & BPO services to its customers.
The center will have secured facilities, labs and infrastructure for customer projects.
This center will extend Wipros e IT service to its customer with an initial focus in the fi rst year on testing and enterprise application services for the manufacturing, banking, financial services and insurance industries.
Chengdu was chosen as a location due to its conducive business environment, talented pool of IT professionals and the citys excellent infrastructure, according to Sambuddha Deb, executive vice president of Wipro Technologies.
