Malaysia Airlines flights ‬‪Kota Kinabalu to tokyo

Malaysia Airlines ‬‪expanded its operations into Japan by introducing three weekly flights from‬‪ ‬‪Kota Kinabalu into tokyo Haneda Airport, Tokyo, effective 15 November 2010. ‬‪

The flights will depart Kota Kinabalu at 4.35pm every Monday,Wednesday‬‪ ‬‪and Friday and arrive in tokyo Haneda at 11pm.

These new weekly services‬‪ ‬‪to Haneda will complement Malaysia Airlines' existing 11 weekly flights‬‪ ‬‪from Kuala Lumpur to Narita.

In addition, effective 15 January 2011, Malaysia Airlines will be increasing its flights to Kansai‬‪ ‬‪from 6 weekly flights to 8 weekly. There will be 6 weekly flights‬‪ ‬‪from Kuala Lumpur and twice weekly flights from Kota Kinabalu. ‬‪

Malaysia Airlines Senior General Manager Commercial Strategy, Dr. Amin Khan said,‬‪ ‬‪"Our services into Haneda will be offered on the new B737-800 aircraft.‬‪ ‬‪Customers will enjoy roomier interior and the comfort of the latest generation seats.‬‪ ‬‪Every business and economy class seat will be equiped with the latest inflight entertainment‬‪ ‬‪system offering both audio and video on demand.

"We are confident that these services will be very well received as the new flights into Haneda Airport will provide customers with easier and speedier access into the city of Tokyo."‬‪
