Delta airlines make travel to and from southern Arizona more comfortable and convenient with the addition of two daily nonstop jet flights between Yuma and Salt Lake City International Airport, Delta Connection carrier will operate the service using quiet and comfortable 50-seat Bombardier regional jets and is the only airline to offer customers nonstop connections between Yuma and Salt Lake City – one of the largest and fastest growing airline hubs in the west.
“This is great news for the people of Yuma,” said Mayor Larry Nelson. “Delta’s new service will generate economic development and employment opportunities, and provide us with one-stop access to hundreds of destinations. I commend our airport staff for securing this new service and welcome Delta to the community. We’re glad they’re here.”
Customers may purchase tickets for the new flights via delta.com and other ticketing channels, the airline is offering special introductory fares to and from Yuma. Tickets are available for purchase at delta.com or from a travel agent, but customers should act fast as introductory fares must be purchased by Sept. 6, 2007. Sample one-way introductory airfares (based on a round-trip purchase) are available between Yuma and many top U.S. destinations, including:
