Ryanair fly to Thessaloniki Airport

Ryanair start fly to Thessaloniki from Brussels (Charleroi), London (Stansted), Oslo (Rygge) and Stockholm (Skavsta), which will allow Greek passengers and visitors to beat the recession by choosing Ryanair’s guaranteed lowest fares and no fuel surcharges to exciting destinations in summer 2011.
Thessaloniki Airport SKG is the second biggest airport in Greece, located 14 km of
the city center and serves 3.5 million passengers per year.

Ryanair hopes to boost business in Greece by 150,000 passengers yearly via flights starting in April from London, Brussels, Oslo and Stockholm to Thessaloniki, the city’s tourist bureau said.
In 2010, the Irish carrier opened routes to the Greek port city of Volos and the Aegean islands of Rhodes and Kos.
In its latest expansion, Ryanair is expected to operate three flights weekly from London (Standsted) and Brussels and twice weekly from Stockholm and Oslo to Thessaloniki.
