Airline fees are no Match for TruPrice

While airlines openly advertise their basic prices, the actual cost of your flight often secret until you finish the booking process--and sometimes you don't find out until you arrive at the airport, leaving you, the traveler, confused, angry, and unexpectedly reach for your credit card so you can actually get on the plane.

TruPrice, a company formed by a group of aviation and travel experts and a veteran frequent flyer, is determined to eliminate the confusion and anger, and customers to keep more of their hard-earned money als's world's first search engine that allows users to select State of the expected costs and combining these fees in base rates and taxes for a really a side-by-side comparison of the actual travel prices will allow.

"So far, we've discovered more than 40 public fees that travellers may encounter," said Christopher Mice, President and CEO of TruPrice, "and the list grows." Mice, that 13 years with Delta Air Lines in various leadership positions, including three years in the Delta's Board Room as part of the Board of Directors spent Delta, is in a much better position to find out what a trip than most passengers will find the costs, but even he is not an easy task. "It may take hours to find the fees for only one airline.

"It's an impossible situation," said Brian Cohen, the Chief Marketing Officer TruPrice. Cohen know from experience--he is a frequent flyer for 22 years, 18 of them as a member of the elite-level status. "Each airline has its own list of fees and surcharges and no one is knowledgeable enough to be familiar with any. Depending on each airline fees, of $ 500 on a route one airline would wind up costing you more than a $ 800–and-ticket on another, "said Cohen.

As an example shows a sample flight from JFK to LAX on June 15, base rates and taxes on three airlines ranging from $ 198.00 to $ 218.00 will one way not much of a spread. However, once again calculated the rate for accounting TruPrice 3 pockets with the third bag is oversized and overweight checked, the real price of the tickets which ranged from $ 883.00 $ 458.00 to on the same three airlines.
